the TAO of CHANGE

a boots-on-the-ground view of the change that's a-foot

Crazily Sane

Norma Grasse belongs to a quilting club. She says she quilts about 4 hours/night. When asked why she does this, she said, “quilting DRIVES ME CRAZY AND KEEPS ME SANE.”

It makes sense to me. Perhaps all the people who are screwed up in the world are the ones who don’t have anything to drive them crazy…

Are you crazily sane?

Ha! I just had to comment when I read this, because my mom quilts and sews like it’s a full time job and is also one of the most steady people I’ve ever known. must be something to this~~

Knitting has the same affect on me. I can start and unravel a project several times and think “this is actually driving me nuts yet I feel so calm”. The Zen of knitting.

    Thanks Tao,
