the TAO of CHANGE

a boots-on-the-ground view of the change that's a-foot

Jerry Knows Change Like the Back of His Hands.

by Tao Oliveto, Carrboro, NC
Here’s how Jerry tells it. The TRUTH is your best tool. And it’s easy to come by. We (the big collect we, that is) already know everything we need to know in order to create a world where resources are abundant and people treat each other and nature with respect and compassion.

But even your best tool fails without the strength to use it. The truth is not enough. It’s actually the easy part. We need the will to do what we have to do. The will’s the hardest part. The Change exists to use truth to create will.

Have a nice day.

Jerry taught me that phrase (the truth is your best tool), and since I’ve heard it- it has become relevent in every aspect of my life. Truth is a good word. We avoid the truth at times, trying to tell everyone (or ourselves) what we think they want to hear – but the most honest, loving and compassionate thing to do is tell the truth! It will only help you live a more genuine and filling life.

Tracey and Jerry both have wisdom words on their wrists. I love these! I wish I could have wisdom words on my wrists too! hee hee
THE TRUTH IS YOUR BEST TOOL. Rock on.
